“Café chat” came about as I indulged in two of my favourite things - drinking coffee and people watching.
I love to find a seat at a table tucked away if I can and just sit and watch people as they enjoy their favourite drink. Either on their own or with friends or colleagues, I can watch them endlessly and if time allows, sit and make lots of little observational sketches either in my sketchbook or my iPad.
This illustration originally began as a colour pencil drawing that I recreated to create a digital print.
