Baker Boy

I've always had a fascination with those who work with their hands to create something. It's even more impressive when they create with the simplest of ingredients and tools. It's a word oft overused but people with these skills truly are artisans.

Our local coffee shop has an open bakery kitchen where you can watch the bread, pastries and savouries all being made from scratch, by hand, by a team of truly skilled people.

I often sketch there whilst enjoying my coffee, and the odd pastry, and it's a beautiful space to people watch.

Pop by Staples in Westgate-on-Sea if you're ever passing and can find it's hidden location. You'll be glad you did.
